What to expect on a day boat in Hurghada
Most diving in Hurghada is done from day boats that leave the marina in the morning and return in the afternoon. Our boat sets off at 9am and is back around 3 to 4pm, after two dives at two different sites.
Who is on board
Certified divers, students on courses, people trying diving for the first time, and snorkellers all share the boat. Divers go with their own guide or instructor. On a normal day there are usually 15 to 25 guests on board.
What to bring
Swimwear, a towel, sun cream and a hat. Lunch, soft drinks and diving equipment are on board. Equipment is included on courses, and can be hired for daily diving.
If you get seasick
If you are prone to seasickness, tell us before your trip and we will give you something for it before the boat goes out. Many of the sites around Hurghada are calm, shallow and clear.
Getting to the boat
We collect you from your hotel and drive you to the boat, and back again in the afternoon. Packages include free pickup inside Hurghada only.
