Courses taught the way they should be

Every course follows PADI's standards, the most widely recognised in diving, and the training is led by a PADI IDC Staff Instructor. An instructor teaches no more than 6 students at a time, so you spend your time with your instructor rather than waiting your turn.

Most people start with Open Water and come back for Advanced. If you want to go further, Rescue Diver and Divemaster take you towards working in diving. Every course can be booked on its own, or as part of a package with your stay and transfers.

How PADI training works

PADI is the world's largest dive training organisation, and its certifications are recognised by dive centres everywhere. Each course has a set standard for what you learn and how many dives you make, so a PADI card means the same thing in Hurghada as it does anywhere else.

The levels

Open Water is the first full certification and lets you dive to 18 metres with a buddy. Advanced Open Water takes you to 30 metres. Rescue Diver teaches you to prevent and manage problems, and Divemaster is the first professional level.

Theory before you travel

Every course uses PADI eLearning, so you study at home and your time here is spent in the water. eLearning and your PADI eCard are included in every course.

Why learn in Hurghada

The water is about 22°C in winter and 29°C in summer, many training sites are shallow and calm with little current, and the visibility is usually excellent. It is one of the easiest places in the world to build confidence underwater.

Combining courses with a holiday

Any course can be part of a package with your room, airport transfers and daily pickups. Tell us your dates and the level you want to reach, and we will plan the week.
