About the specialty

Hover like a professional

Good buoyancy is the skill that separates comfortable divers from struggling ones. When you can hover in place, you use less air, see more, and never touch the reef.

This specialty works on your weighting, your trim and your breathing, so you can stay exactly where you want in the water.

Buoyancy and the reef

More about Peak Performance Buoyancy

What you learn

Correct weighting, trim, and using your breath to fine-tune your position.

Why it matters

Good buoyancy means longer dives, less effort, and no accidental contact with the coral.

The theory

PADI eLearning is included.

Good for photographers
