About the specialty

Go deeper, safely

Deep diving opens up wrecks and walls that sit below 30 metres. The Deep Diver specialty prepares you to reach them, with the planning, gas management and safety skills that deeper diving needs.

Your instructor takes you step by step to 40 metres, staying within no-stop limits.

The course

Two days of deep training

eLearning at home, then deep dives with your instructor.

Planning and first deep dives

Planning a deep dive, gas use at depth, and how narcosis affects you.

Day 2

Going to 40 metres

Deeper dives, safety stops, and what to do if something goes wrong.

A day on the boat

What a day on the boat looks like

7:30amHotel pickup, between 7:30 and 8:30am depending on where you stay

9amWelcome on board and a briefing, then the boat sets off

10:30amFirst dive, then lunch on board from 12pm

1pmSecond dive, then back at the marina around 3 to 4pm
