About the specialty

Let the current do the work

On a drift dive, you move with the current along the reef and the boat picks you up at the end. It is relaxed, and you cover far more of the reef than you could by swimming.

The course teaches you to plan a drift dive, stay together in the current, and be picked up by the boat at the end.

Entering and leaving the water together, staying with your buddy in the current, and using a surface marker buoy.

A day on the boat

What a day on the boat looks like

7:30amHotel pickup, between 7:30 and 8:30am depending on where you stay

9amWelcome on board and a briefing, then the boat sets off

10:30amFirst dive, then lunch on board from 12pm

1pmSecond dive, then back at the marina around 3 to 4pm
