Open Water Referrals

Many people start the PADI Open Water course at a centre near home, in a pool, and finish it somewhere warm. PADI calls this a Referral.
What to bring
Your signed Referral form, swimwear, a towel and sun cream.
How long the form lasts
The Referral must be completed within 12 months of finishing your confined water training at home.
Why Hurghada
Many of the training sites are shallow, calm and clear, and the water is about 22°C in winter and 29°C in summer.
After the course
Once certified, you can join the daily diving trips or carry on with Advanced Open Water.
