A day on the Red Sea

Two dives, lunch, and back by mid-afternoon

We collect you from your hotel between 7:30 and 8:30am, and the boat sets off at 9am. You make two dives at two different sites, with lunch on board in between, and you are back at the marina around 3 to 4pm.

Certified divers dive with a guide. If you have never dived, an instructor takes you on an introductory dive, and anyone who would rather stay on the surface can come along to snorkel.

Daily diving in Hurghada

Diving the Red Sea from your hotel

Hurghada's reefs and wrecks are within easy reach of a day boat, which makes day diving the simplest way to dive the Red Sea while staying in a hotel. You sleep ashore, dive in the day, and choose as many days as you like.

Sites are hand-picked for each day.

Who can join

Any certified diver. If it has been a while since your last dive, a PADI Scuba Review first will get you comfortable again. If you have never dived, the introductory dive takes you down with an instructor.

Equipment

Tanks and weights are included. Full equipment hire is £15 a day, or you can bring your own.

Water and conditions

The water is about 22°C in winter and 29°C in summer. Many sites are calm and clear with little current, and the best months are April to November.

Questions

About daily diving

For the daily diving trips, yes. If you are not, the introductory dive (£65) takes you down with an instructor and needs no experience. It is open to anyone from age 10.

Yes. Snorkelling is £35 for the day, with snorkelling equipment, lunch and soft drinks.

Tanks and weights are. Full equipment hire is £15 a day, or you can bring your own.

Yes, for £30 per person, per day. Ask us when you book.

We collect you between 7:30 and 8:30am, depending on where you stay. Pickup is free in most of Hurghada, with a small fee for hotels past Rixos Premium Magawish and from Al Ahyaa, Sahl Hasheesh, Makadi, El Gouna, Safaga and Soma Bay (see the fees).

Safety comes first. If the sea is too rough, the boat does not go out. The details are in our cancellation policy.
